At the beginning it was called Poggio Bedetto, as our grand father Amedeo told us, then the name was changed into Poggio Benedetto.
Serenity, peace and silence are the peculiar aspects of this place which, according to us, is filled with memories of a peasant life rich in smells, sensations, emotions and efforts which formed our characters and which made us love and respect nature and one-time simple things, nowadays almost disappeared.
This was handed down at first by our grand father Amedeo and then by our father Benito who, with their efforts and ideas and love for their native land, allowed to create what nowadays their children Gianni and Andrea, with their families, try to preserve and better for hand over those sensations and those values to all the people who want to spend their relaxing days in this uncontaminated place.
4 kilometers away from Saturnia thermal baths, in the valley of the Albegna river, in the middle of the Rocconi W.W.F. oasis, near the famous Olivone di Fibianello, nestled among secular olive trees, an old barn and a stall have been renovated and modernized according to

what Tuscan peasant culture requests, in order to receive our guests in the most absolute peace which only nature can impart.
The farmstead is composed of two apartments named respectively Fienile (old barn) e Stalla (stall) in full compliance with their old origins and purposes. The first, originally intended for the harvest deposit, is on the first floor, while the second housed the cattle and it is on the ground floor. Both, renovated according to the taste of the old poor Tuscan art style and earthquake proof, measure 70 square meters and are composed of two bedrooms (one double bedroom and one with two single beds), a bathroom with shower and a gas-fired kitchenette with electric oven, fridge, satellite television and a table for six people. the two kitchen are also equipped with fireplaces. The apartments are healed by independent diesel fuel plants and are connected with one another by an internal staircase with a related door which allows both their independence and their communication in case of more numerous groups of friends.
